Mission Statement
The Emmanuel Anglican Church (Boston) is church-planting initiative of the Asian & Multicultural Ministries in Canada (AMMiC), part of Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). It began gospel gatherings in January 2014 to “respond to the Great Commission by so presenting Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit that all may come to know Him as Savior and follow Him as Lord in the fellowship of His Church.” We continue to share the gospel with the Chinese community as biblically faithful Anglicans.
(Anglican Church of the Southern Cone of America)。
Oversight is given by the Right Reverend Stephen Leung, Suffragan Bishop (Multicultural Ministry) of the Anglican Network in Canada in Vancouver. He is assisted by Pastor Anson Ann. Beginning in November 2014, the group is joined by Evangelist Mei, who supports and expands the outreach mission and begins weekly fellowship gatherings and Sunday worships. The group is also locally assisted by Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Marlborough, MA.
In 2009, the Anglican Network in Canada (ANiC) became a diocese in the Anglican Church in North America and part of the global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans which affirms the Jerusalem Declaration. ANiC also remains affiliated with the Anglican Province of the Southern Cone, one of 38 jurisdictions in the worldwide Anglican Communion.
